On Upakriti day 2005, Upakriti will provide new clothes to all the children (approximately ninety four) of the Karunai Illam project. A site visit by Upakriti volunteers to this project revealed half-naked children barely covered by torn pieces of clothing. It was a heart-rending sight. As children, we vividly remember the excitement we felt whenever we received new clothes. Don’t these kids deserve the same? With the help of funds from our generous donors, these children will receive new clothes.
