The organization name, Upakriti, means “service” in Sanskrit, the ancient Indian language.
A modest but holistic focus has been the prime urge of Upakritians right from the beginning. Since underprivileged children without access to basic necessities and education, are like tender saplings left un-watered, Upakriti’s prime focus has been providing disadvantaged children with an opportunity to lead a normal life with the right to basic necessities and education.
